Help needed with shooting a less than pretty model..

There are plenty of sexy shots of wimmin with their nose obscured by a raised arm.

Not quite in the "Heil Hitler" stylee . . .

Now its my turn to be rude about her - not sure her arms are long enough...

I have had several replies from people willing to 'give it a try' so assuming the poor much ridiculed lady ok's it, I'll post the results in a day or so..

Bit late to the party but #1 here is to make sure she feels relaxed as it will make a massive difference to the photos. The eyes tell the story, make sure they're telling the right one.

You might also take at look at: http://www.lorekphoto.com/ (portfolio/fine art) as this guy has a real talent for lighting and posing models in an almost anonymous way and might give you some inspiration :thumbs:
 
do a mini shoot with her and explore as many angles as possible, then let her look at them and decide which she is happiest about. Ive found that women look at images of themselves very differently to how many do.
