Help needed swap files on a 1d etc

Hi there i have done a shoot and all images can be viewed on the LCD on the camera I have tried to transfer using cf card and straight from the camera usb input but nothing> so queston being if i find someone with a dual slot can there copy the images over to the sd using there camera ? Help plz

I don't think so. Have you tried a card reader for a start?
