So I have an old external hard drive that I used to use a while back.
I'm now trying to access the file on my new laptop but need to setup new ownership permissions.
For some weird reason though when I set the new permissions through the security tab for the whole drive it doesn't apply it to sub folders and files.
This means I would have to apply the same permission thousands of times over!
Am I missing something and can anyone help me out.
