Hello, I am new in this forum. Unfortunately I am not a photographer, though I always been fascinated by photography and have taken some shots myself in the past. I hope this is not against the rules of this forum, but I mainly subscribed for asking advice for buying a first (kind of) professional camera to my 13 years old daughter attending high school in Manchester.
I will do that as soon as I find the right section in this forum. In the meantime my best wishes to everybody :)

welcome to the forum, camera choices are vast and many are budget dependant and- I suggest you go to a local camera shop ( if there is one near you ) and try a few to see how they feel with a hands on approach as there are many brands types not to mention the vast array of lenses etc etc etc

Hi Giannicola - Welcome to TP - Good advise so far, it's really best to actually hold and see what camera your daughter prefers. They will be different sizes, styles etc.
