Hello all. Long shot I know but…..
Back when the Independent was a print newspaper they used to have a weekend supplement. In the supplement they once ran a series of iconic photos.
The one I’m interested in showed a young, well dressed woman walk-in on a bridge, or near a bridge. An old man had stopped to admire her and had a big smile on his face. The scene showed a lot of austere people walking, probably going home after work, the woman stood out as representing a new generation after austerity. The old man really stood out as he was the only other person smiling. The photo was in black and white.
Can anyone help me trace this ?
