Help need some video recovery software

I'm looking for some video recovery software (MP4) i accidently deleted a 5 hour seminar i had recorded recently, tried the free Recuva software but no joy, so if anyone knows of something i can use to recover this, i would be grateful, preferably a free download, thanks in advance :)
 
What's it recorded on, or where about? Computer?

I use Avira unerase downloaded from Major Geeks, freeware download site.
 
It was recorded on my computer, then converted to MPEG4, then it was deleted by accident :(
 
if you used a Sandisk memory card you may be able to recover it from that

I'm not sure why you think i would have used a memory card ? perhaps i'm not making myself clear, i downloaded a seminar from the internet onto my PC i then converted to MPEG4, when i was deleting some other video files this one also got deleted in error, i can only think it was highlighted by accident and when i clicked on delete it went with the others i wanted to delete, because it was too big a file for the recycle bin, it just got permanently deleted, now i am trying to recover it from the hard drive on my PC :)
 
Opps sorry thought it would have gone onto a memory card first

I downloaded it tried once but no joy, as their is no facility for searching the files it recovers, so you have to trawl through 1000,s i tried just looking for MPEG4 files but couldn't find any, the other thing that happened it only works once, after that i kept getting this "error of initialization volume" message whatever that means :shrug:
 
In one post you say you recorded it but in another you downloaded it. Surely if you downloaded it you can download it again?

Bloody hell, the perils of RSS, Michael’s post appeared in the list and I rushed to help/scoff or whatever and forgot to check the OP date :D.
