I have just upgraded from a CRT monitor and got myself a LCD :)

Looking through the menu I noticed I can choose between
1) 9300K
2) 6500K
3) Custom Color
3) sRGB

As I understand my camera uses sRGB so should I be using this as the setting???

I have used a free and crude software calibration tool so is this ok or should I just switch to sRGB and use this as the setting????

Many thanks in advance

Stuart

I'm assuming that is for colour temperature, rather than colour profile, as that is set by software.

6500K is pretty much daylight white colour, this is the setting to use when calibrating a monitor.

TBH the only way to make sure your monitor is correct is to calibrate it regularly.

Excuse me butting in, but what software are you using, seem to range vastly in price so not sure where i need to be aiming.

Cheers

Rob.
