Help me post pictures from my TP gallery!

Hi,

i seem to be having trouble getting this done! I've never been the one to post any of my pictures, and I felt the need to do so with a camera I want to see in this thread: -

Now, I've gone through the tutorial of how to post a picture from this thread: -

However when I copy the contents of the 'Medium Image' box, and then paste it to my thread, something is done that makes the image not appear. When I check what's been copies and pasted, it does seem that there are a number of *** replacing a few characters! I don't know why this is happening, and I am not sure how to fix this.

I've tried everything possible to post the pictures, could someone please show me what's happening and how do I fix this.

you try renaming the files ? ie your pics in the gallery.

I dont know where the "medium image" is from .. I dont have that in my gallery.

I see you have pics in your gallery. click one pic and it will open up and highlight the text below and paste it directly into your post... is should start with this tag

if there are *** in there then maybe the swear filter on the site is at work!! rename your image perhaps if you can see what the word might be.

Thank you for pointing that out. I didn't think much about this, but reading your reply made me wonder why my file name would be an issue, until ..... !

It does seem that this site doesn't like my initials - *** - for some reason. That was part of the file name in my pictures and was filtered out :shrug: :shake:.

I've since renamed the files, reloaded them and tested them, and they did show up!

So, again, thank you both and to puddleduck for helping me out with this.

'Medium Image' in front of the link text with img tags was something that came with the gallery software upgrade. A meaningless name which there was no option to change I believe. Confusing but we are stuck with it.

Thanks, but the word that was filtered was my initials, which is also filtered from my above post .. they are W A T (without the spaces inbetween) :shrug:.
