I think I am not going to be able to fire my two flashes without any triggers, but just wanted to check if I'm missing something.
I have a D90, SB600 and Lencarta Smartflash, and I want to be able to fire both the flashes together.
If I use the built in as a commander it only syncs with the SB600. Garry at Lencarta advised this was because the pre flash is firing the smartflash before the shutter opens, so try manual. Setting the pop up to manual and at 1/128 I think it is, fires the smartflash and that works great, however the SB600 won't now flash (because the built in isn't in commander mode). I think it would work if the SB600 is on camera, but I want it off camera.
There is no port on a D90 to use the sync cable, so I'm thinking my last option is to buy a trigger system?
