Hi,

My wife has a webiste for her business and it's currently hosted with easyspace - domain, email, website. It's up for renewal on the 5th of October. Can anyone recommend an alternative host?

Thanks

tsohost without a doubt

Thanks guys. How do I change it? Do I just not renew with easyspace? what about moving my domain? Can my email address just be transfered too?

TSO is the obvious answer...BUT, she might not be able to just move it.

Some hosts have their own specific systems which mean that you can't just copy files from one place to another and expect them to work. Indeed, you might not even be able to access the files directly. These are often the sort of businesses which offer online site-building options such as 1&1

It's only when you learn a bit and want to leave that you discover the problems.

If you built your site in something like Dreamweaver then you already have the files and moving should be easy.

Moving the domain should be straightforward, setting up email if you use TSO Host WILL be straightforward.

OK, so the domain has lapsed. I went to renew it using easpspace and they want £22.18 to register it for 2 years. I went to TSO and they will transfer it for free, is that all I need to do to move it or is it more complicated than that? I looked at a similar domain and they want £6.70 for 2 years registration, which is obviously cheaper.
