Help, images saving too small

Hope someone can help and maybe I'm missing the obvious
When I save my images to jpeg from raw in cs5 they are normally 8-10 mb in size
But today they are saving as around 600kb ??
I'm not doing anything different to normal
Could someone tell me what I'm missing

Just an after thought but last night I bought the nik collection and said images have been run through silver fx
I wonder if its compressing them and if so how do you change the save settings ?

But surely, Nik software is just a plug in... you're still saving from Photoshop aren't you?

When I ok the the image in niks plugin it does say saving then reopens in cs5 where I then save it to chosen folder

Exactly , that's what happened
It always saves as high but for some reason it had reset to low???
