Hi i was wondering whether anyone knows any free software that i can download to help imrove the colour matching between the computer and printer.

Got the same problem and cant really justify spending heavy dosh on a calibration unit.
 
You could try Pure Profiles; they will do a profile for you which you install on your computer. It costs about £15 (from memory) and the guy who did mine was helpful way beyond the call of duty.:clap:

Only disadvantage is you can't have a phone conversation with him. Its all done by email.
