Help deciding on a flash

Okay, so I've got two options:

A 430EX with a Lightsphere second hand for £140
A 430EX II brand new from Amazon for £172

If I buy the first one, I then have enough to buy a new rucksack which I need
If I buy the second one, I won't.

I am leaning towards the II, and I know the differences between the two flashes, but what would YOU do?!

For the difference in price I would buy new (read warranty) - but I don't know how much a lightsphere is worth.

Well, something good HAS come out of this as I've been offered a brand new 430EX for cheaper than the second hand one :) This forum is quickly becoming a sure-fire favourite of mine
