hi there
im looking to buy a new tripod
budget is around £100
i was looking at either
Manfrotto 7303YB Tripod with Ball Head
which is £81.99
or
Manfrotto 055 XDB with 804RC2 head
which is 85.99
first of all
does anyone have any experience with these tripods as i was finding it difficult to find any customer based feedback or reviews about them
i think the 055xdb looks like a better tripod in general
but i quite fancy the ball head
does anyone have any thoughts?
is the ball head worth having or is the 3-way type just as good?
can anyone reccomend a tripod around my budget of around/under £100 for a decent tripod?
would prefer manfrotto if possible as they seem like a respected and reliable brand, but not limiting myself to just manfrotto
how about the redsnapper ones?
might i add, i hardly do much studio work so weight/size would be something of concern
ideally i would like a quick release plate which i noticed the ball head one doesn't have, in that kind of scenario would it be worth purchasing a seperate quick release plate like a manfrotto 323 quick change plate adapter and using it on the ballhead?
i havent got much experience with tripods
i had one which i sold, but it wasn't a branded one or specifically very good or anything
every time I've ever been to say Tottenham court road to have a look at tripods, its a bit overwhelming with the large selection of tripods which all seem very similar
would appreciate any help
thank you
