I have shoot around 30 weddings and recently received my first complaint.
The client is not happy at all with the wedding pictures and has refused to talk to me, only method of communcation is e-mail.

I personally dont think they are bad at all and after checking them over and over again (settings, poses, lighting etc)

I need other photogprahers opintions before i email the client back.

Ive had a very quick look as I am about to leave work, but as a whole, it seems like a very good set.

Have they complained about any shots in particular? Or just the fact they believe them to be all sub standard?
 
Have they paid you yet or are they refusing to pay the final settlement?

Do you have a contract to cover this situation?

Did you cover everything they requested and was every request in writing?
 
Just had a quick flick through and they're not the most exciting wedding photos I've ever seen, but saying that they're by no means the worst either.

You seem to have a few issues with some of the exposures with some shots very dark and a some very bright. You've got about 400 photos there so I'd have binned those rather than showing bad photos. The group photos need a bit of tidying up with that fire exit sign in the top left, nothing a bit of PP wouldn't fix.

Not sure if I'm OK to comment on this so mods please remove if it's inappropriate: The bride doesn't strike me as much of a 'smiler' which can make taking the photos a bit more challenging as it can look like they're not enjoying the day.

It's difficult to say whether she's got a case or not as if you've promised her work of the standard of Jeff Ascough and charged her £5k then she might have a point. If this is about the normal standard of your work and the bride was expecting photos like this then she can't really complain.

As AndrewC said is there anything more specific they have complained about?
