Hi,
I've just come back off holiday and tried connecting my 40D to my laptop via usb but nothing happens
I have connected it countless times in the past and haven't done anything differently this time except before trying to connect it I used the video lead to show a few of the pictures to some of my family (this was the first time I had used the video lead)
I disconneted the video lead then went to my laptop (windows vista) plugged the usb lead in and switched the camera on but nothing
Nothing shows up on 'My Computer' and the EOS utility doesn't detect anything either
BUT I do hear the usual connect tone that windows plays when you connect something via usb. The top display of the camera shows 'busy' for a few seconds but then returns to the normal screen. But that's it I cannot seem to transfer the pictures.
Any ideas anyone?
(Ps. I know i could just get a CF card reader but it's really bugging me why this used to work and now it doesn't.)
Thanks,
Stu.
