Hi guys, new here, name's Daniel.
Always had an interest in photography, though always been limited to cheap digital compact until now.
Finally managed to get some money to buy myself an entry level bridge camera as well as a tripod.
Then went out yesterday to the Durham Brass festival to test it out for the first time, gotta say I noticed huge difference straight away, loving the upgrade.
Anyway, mainly enjoy landscapes etc... as I live near a lot of countryside and enjoy walking or cycling and the peace and quiet occasionally.
Wouldn't mind the chance to photograph some people or celebs, but not got the money to goto gigs, and not got the confidence to ask people if I can take their picture, would seem to creepy haha.
Guess the likes of the brass festival and similar events are a good starting point though, so yeh, thought I'd join here (seemed the most active forum google found) and hopefully will learn a lot of new things while here.
