Hello, I have always been interested in photography but have never tried it myself, mainly due to never having a decent camera. I love seeing mundane things captured in wonderful ways and would love to be able to do that. I want to start learning photography in my own time via the internet and I want to start viewing the world from a photographers prospective, it seems so much more interesting!
I am looking into getting a Nikon D3100 with a VR lens, £310 on Amazon, as it has good reviews and I hear it is quite user friendly for beginners and a good camera to learn with. If I really get into it I may consider upgrading in time, although I will have to see how I like it.
I am moving to London in May for my new job and I will be doing a lot of exploring with my camera, so it should be a great place for me to learn. I have family in the midlands and they live quite close to the country side so I will be able to get nature shots from time to time as well.
Just thought I would join here to gain some help and advice. Also if there is a better DSLR camera for a similar price then could someone recommend one?
