Hello - just thought I should introduce myself before posting anywhere else.

As you can see, my avatar is out of focus, like me - so I'll probably stay in this bit of the forum unless I work out how to use my new camera - which is unlikely because Canon only supplied an effing PDF manual, ffs. I'll spare you my user manual PDF rant for now - and my Canon website 'self-service' support rant. :razz:

I've already laughed out loud at a few things on here - looks like a fun forum...

This forum is pretty good and theres some good banter to be had. I think this thread might be better if posted in the welcome section hehe, but im sure everyone will let you off.

And after that, Welcome, hopefully you can get some photographs posted up here asap

Hey Rachael, welcome. The best way to work out how to use your camera is to....use your camera. Take lots and lots of pictures, and then read the manual to see why things didn't turn out how you expected. Oh, and post stuff on here for more 'real-life' opinions!
