I'm Neil and know nothing about dlsr photography, still just trying to get my head around which camera to buy! Really what to take some quality pics of my kids. Anyway hope to talk to some of you soon as i'll be asking for a bit of advise.

Hi Neil,welcome to the TP forum,friendly lot here,we Lynch anyone thats not.........
just don't rush out and buy,ask here,but the best advice is to set a budget,get down to a shop and handle some cameras.
Some just feel right in you're hand.
Don't get pushed into buying what the salesman wants to sell you.

A lot are happy with point and shoot and up from that the bridge cameras good zooms and often the only one you would need as no lenses to change.
