Have always been interested in photography, and purchased my first camera a canon 350D some five years ago, this was mainly used for "spotting" in clubs and pubs, however since then Im looking to go into more portrait/family stuff, although animals, macro and landscape is something i love as well. I've finally upgraded to the Canon 5D Mk II, just had it over a week now and dying to test this out properly.. I've also made a make shift studio in the garden, with a marque, however the weather being totally english it's getting waterlogged on the floor now, so hubby is having to make a make shift floor for it as it's not a permanent structure, and hope this will suffice for some portrait works that i'd like to do.. So im now on the hunt for some lighting equipment, but it's like a minefield out there, wondering what to get etc etc, so thought id join up and get some good advice.
