Hello all!

I'm Tom, 17 and i'm from Wigan. I'm also under the username North West Tom on Pistonheads, which is where I found this site!

I'm a beginner. Got a D40 a couple of months ago because I want to take photography more seriously. Also got a 70-300 Tamron lens, and a couple of other bits and bobs too.

I take it your a car nut then, what kind of thing do you enjoy photographing?

Anything really. I took a few pics in my garden after I got my camera, came out with some nice shots (for me anyway!). I'd like to learn a bit more about motorsport photography; going to try and get down to Three Sisters or even Oulton Park when I can.

These are a couple of the first shots I took with the camera. May be crap to you but I was impressed considering my lack of experience.

I'm in my second year of a graphic design course at college, and hope to be of to uni next year.

Lovely shots, there's nothing wrong with those and it's easy to see you have a good eye
