Thought I best break my newbie duck by saying hello.

I found these forums this morning when a search for advice on shooting at airshows brought up a link.

From a peek at a couple of links this place seems really friendly. :cool: Some photography forums are just a ****ing contest and not the place to ask anything.

I'm trying to reinvigorate my photography - I got a dslr in January 2009 having learned a bit on a Fuji S5600. But life took over and I really lapsed from using it.

So I've got tons to learn really as I try to get back into shooting. Hopefully I won't annoy with too many questions!

Welcome to TP.
Have a look in the Transport forum. Lots of aviation stuff in there and some good links.

Yes, this is a friendly forum and full of folk willing to answer questions.
