Hi,

I've been a (very) amateur photographer for the last four years or so, but am trying to get more serious with it as my free time allows. I'm experimenting with off-camera flashes at the moment and realising what a world of pain finding the right equipment is: I now have a spare manual flash I don't really need, a couple of shoe adapters that are the wrong one's, and no clue about sourcing an extension arm so I can make my lastolite softbox "c-stand complete" and thus put the damned light where I want it to be.

Still, it's all good fun if a little frustrating.
