Hi All,
I've *ahem* already posted before seeing the Welcome section, but thought I'd say a belated Hello from Derbyshire.
As it happens, I'm a graphic designer, not a photographer
I've got a baby daughter, so I thought it would be a good idea to get a reasonably good camera setup and get some decent family photos. Also, I needed to take some shots of my design work, so I used the first reason to convince my wife we needed a 400D. I'm slowly adding lenses and bits and bobs to my setup when I get the chance, my nifty fifty is a big hit!
I'm really interested in picking up hints and tips to improve my photographs, especially since there are some fantastic photographs on here - previous to buying my EOS, I'd not used a SLR since college, I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed it.
Simon
