I have just found you on the net, and now i hope i can get some help. I have taken some pics of a volleyball match, the results are not that great i have uneven colours and blurred images. if i can sus out how to post a photo you will see what i mean, I have asked our local paper if they want to publish them and so far they havn't. i USE A CANON 400D 18 - 55MM LENS I ALSO HAVE A 70 - 300 CANON LENS

your photo woes sound like awb and shutter speed, but once you get some examples posted on of the very knowledgeable posters here will be able to give you more tips.
