Hello there i am new to this, and i just wanted to find out some things that i could do with some helpp with. I am currently 16, and moving to spain this month. Photography has been a great passion to me for a couple of years now and it definatley something i want to persue in, in my life. As i am moving to spain, i will not be attending a college or lessons, so i will be mainly teaching myself. So i wondered if anyone else has been through something like this, and has a couple of ways they could suggests which would help me structure my learning, and how i could go about it.

You might be better off posting your question in the "Talk Photography" section as you'll probably get a better response.

I have never attended any courses myself, and the way I learnt was from reading various photography books and practising on my own camera gear. Over a period of time and after making several mistakes, you will learn gradually.

thankyou carl, yes i am going to be purchasing some books myself. As i will not be able to take a course over in spain for photography. So like yourself my learning will be mainly self taught. Once again thankyou for the advice xx
 
Welcome to tp, i'm no expert but most of my knowledge has come from here and reading a few books. I found "understanding exposure" a great benefit to me.
