I seem to be on a mission to sign up to as many forums as possible lately... except Nikonians - I don't like paying for stuff when I can get it elsewhere for nowt
I'm into sports photography (mainly football and motor racing) as a hobby, although I have pipe dreams of blowing out my mundane career in IT one day and going pro.
Other than that, I have hundreds of shots of my fast-growing toddler - as most parents here will probably identify with - and the occasional excursion into wildlife shooting (maybe I should rephrase that!)
Random uninteresting fact - my first DSLR was a Canon 40d. I returned it in a week because it was rubbish and got a Nikon D300, which now competes with my long suffering wife for attention and accessories. She has a younger D90 sister and a mix of Sigma / Nikkor glass on the front (the D300, not the wife)
