Hi everyone! I've just registered and am really looking forward to contributing. I've had a few different compacts over the years and am now about to buy my first DSLR. Probably the soon to be released EOS 400D. I'm gonna post in a more appropriate forum to get you opinions on my camera / lens choice before I commit the money. Really looking forward to chatting with you all!
 
Welcome aboard, should be a good choice of camera, use a 350D myself and from what I've scene the 400D only gets better :)

Another Nikon user here, so can't comment on the 400D. Interesting choice of name though - haven't heard the name 'Grendel' since about 1983!

No, but I saw them perform that song on several different occasions with the main man! What a front man - when he left the band, I kinda lost interest! Market Square Heroes was the A side, wasn't it? Lol!
 
Hi Chris,

Yeah it was the b side to the 12" of Market Square Heroes, their first single! The band are very different, older, balder and fatter now than all those years ago. Still the original line up apart from Fish of course. They're still making some fine music, you should have a listen!
