I'm seriously considering getting my first DSLR camera really wanting to actually know what I am doing
! I'm a happy Fuji Finepix S5600 user -it gave me some really precious shots through the past 5 years. I only got into photography the last couple of years but time has arrived to invest a bit more time into it. It is a BIG SCARY WORLD at the moment :bang:but I'm well up for the challenge anyhow.
My main interests are portraits, landscape and product photography but I'm quite happy to take 200 shots of a door hindge if it comes to it (no I won't share those).
I'm looking into getting a Canon 450d with the kit lens and the "nifty fifty" very soon.
