Hello to all please visit my Photography portfolio and give me feedback on what you think. Im fairly new to photography not learned it as a subject however Im only 19 and picking it up fast.

Hi Stephen and welcome to TP, imo I think it would be more courteous of you if you posted up some of your pictures in the relevant forums for critique, if that is the aim of your thread :shrug:

Hi Stephen, if you are looking for critique of your images then I agree with the above as you will get more response. However, if it is the website you are looking for comments on then it is a good start. Quite like the format and I like white text on a black background.

What I would suggest is that you check the text for grammar - this isn't a dig at all, but it always looks professional if it makes sense and is punctuated properly. Also, you seem to have different fonts on different pages which loses some of the continuity across the site.

In my opinion it's a bit of a clutter as it is. There are adverts for the website service you used to create the site at the bottom. Your logo should be at the top above the navigation. The contact page has a photo of , presumably you, with drum sticks and a drum kit in the background. Shouldn't it be a simple portrait of you with or without your camera? You should also look into getting your own domain name to keep the url short and tidy. At the moment you'll be lucky to get anyone to remember what it is. The slideshow that you've got is a bit confusing. Trying to click on the next image is what people do instinctively yet it's not possible with this.
 
brutal site crit, the quote on the home page is gay

the rest of the site is too slow to load, doesn't flow evenly and looks a bit naff

its very unprofessional because its wix which is unavoidable unless you move it
