Hi guys and girls:thumbs:

I joined here the other day on the search for my first DSLR and thought this is the place i should come to get some advise of people that actually know what there talking about when it comes to camera's. Unlike me:shrug:

I'm wanting to purchase a camera pretty sharpish - ideally before the weekend. Looking to spend no more than £250 for a second hand, ready to go DSLR. Maybe a little more.

I will be using it 90% of the time at car shows and racing events. So allot of stationary photography and then again the other end of the scale, fast moving objects. Any tips and advice on what camera is ideal for me with out breaking the bank, or if you have one for sale local to me i could be very interested.

I am a complete n00b when it comes to photography so go easy on me.

Regards,
Ben

Hi Ben. A belated welcome.:D

Hello, welcome,

I'm a complete noo-B too, but from the pics i've uploaded, i've had loads of good advice, you'll find it useful i'm sure when you've decided on your camera.

ps my initial outlay on equipment was the same as your budget, i got a sony
a200 and i love it (already added a 75-300mm zoom to my kit, i just need to get the hang of using it now!!!)

anyway, enjoy

:D
