My name is Alison - I reside in 'Sarf' London on a very rundown council estate !

At the age of 39 I have packed in my full time job to give my photography everything I have.

I have always adored the artform of photography and at a very early age I would beg to go along with my father as his assistant just to watch him take photographs and learn as much as I could. My father was a sucessful landscape photographer in his time - so I think the love of all things photographic runs in the blood.

I am the VERY proud owner of a Canon EOS 400D with the usual 2 lenses, battery pack, external flash and monopod.

My favourite form of photography is most emphatically portraiture !

wow, that was quick ! thanks for the feedback - I've only had that Flickr site for 48hours. Do you know if Flickr is any good ? I have NEVER used it before (I've stuck to Photobucket, Myspace and Facebook to show work).
