Hi,
Just thought I'd introduce myself.... My name's Colin, I live in London and I'm looking to get into photography and looking around for a decent kit to get me started.... I'm new to it all though but always had an interest in photography but no spare cash to spend on a half decent set up.

I'm off to do some reading now and to see what I should be spending my cash on, so far the Canon EOS 600D seems pretty good?
 
As per the e38 thread, go into a shop and hold a Nikon and a Canon and see what feels "right" in your hand first.

Before I bought mine, I was set on Canon but when I held it it was all wrong for me..
 
Will do mate, I'll pop into jessops or somewhere very soon :)
