This is the first time I've joined any sort of forum. I'm looking forward to chatting with you, learning from you and hopufully laughing with you. Photography is such a wonderful hobby, creative, outdoors (usually), frustrating (sometimes) but mainly exciting. I've looked at my world in a different way since trying to 'find pictures'. Norfolk is a great place to take pictures of big skies and wonderful sunsets. The air is pure and the people lovely. I'm blessed to be here although I originate from Surrey which is also beautiful in places. I love Britain, it's a wonderful place. I especially love Yorkshire: the Dales and also the Coast (Whitby, Robins Hood Bay) etc. There are so many places in Britain I've not been to and would love to see them one day. I'd love to visit Wales (Snowdonia) sometime and want to see more of the Lake District. I'd also like to visit Scotland. I've been taking photos since I was a child, inspired by my lovely Grandad. I'm still using an old film camera Canon EOS 600 but I'd love a Canon digital SLR. I take landscapes and candids and want to learn more about Macro phototography. I love to 'create' pictures in photoshop as well as straight work. Chat with you soon I hope!

Im sure youll feel right at home here, theres plenty of humour ... and shedloads of talent ... Im hoping some of that might rub off on me!

Norfolk is indeed a lovely county, photo-wise. I love the North Norfolk coast, Cley, Holt etc. wild places for me! :thumbs:

Hope you settle in here soon, and dont be afraid to ask questions...that's how we all learn. :D

Thanks everyone for your kind welcome..... but IM WORRIED! Ever since I loaded my photos onto the member's gallery it's been dead! Were my pics that bad? Have I jinxed the whole site? Whoops. Will have to try and upload piccys again and try not to break it another time.
