Hi all, I’m fairly new to the site, have been using it recently to help decide where to buy my gear. Been taking photos for a few years using a Sony Cybershot 4.1MP, decided it was time to upgrade and a friend let me borrow a Canon 20D for a couple of months, to see if I could get on with a DSLR. I was gutted when I had to give it back so decided to go that route and have ordered a Canon 5D2 with a 24 – 70mm f2.8L USM lens.
I realize it’s quite unusual to buy such an expensive model as my first DSLR but why mess about? I want good results and now I don’t have any excuses!
It should arrive around next weekend, then all I have to do is learn how to use it.


Ps Any idea why I can’t access the classified section??? (ha ha only joking!)
