Hey all, my name is Jarod but go by JC. I'm in Wichita, KS and have only recently got into serious photography (and by recent, I mean I haven't even finished paying off my camera yet). Until now I've limped by with a cool little camcorder with a great zoom that takes still photos. On the advice of a friend, (who was a professional photographer, but has since passed away) I decided to go with a Canon EOS Rebel T3 w/ 18-55mm lens kit, and my next upgrade will be a Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM Telephoto Zoom Lens. My main interests are nature/wildlife, scenic/landscape and weather, particularly lightning and low light scenes. I don't have a giant wad of cash to throw at gear all at once, but would like to build up a good collection of equipment over time. (I feel like I'm filling out a dating site here
