Hi, I'm Richard. Very much a hobbyist here with a rather bad attack of GAS. I like taking pictures of landscapes, skies, buildings, people, street stuff and oddities. I bought my first DSLR for a road trip In the US in 2011 and have been trying to find the right camera for me ever since.
I am very tempted to,add the new Panasonic LX100 to my collection but I can't decide whether it will replace an existing camera or add to the list. I love a lot about my GX7 but there's just something about the ergonomics of it that I just don't get on with.
My XQ1 is with me literally at ALL times and is a great pocket/travel camera.
I post occasionally to flickr where I am richArdfrost and regularly on Instagram where I am richardcfrost.
I like to do as much on the camera to,get the shot right as i really don't want to do much post production, unless it is the only way to capture the image I have in mind, or rescue a poor image. Mostly I just do a quick crop in Snapseed on the iPad and then I sync into iPhoto on the Macbook to store and organise things.
