Hello from the Rossendale Valley

Hi Everyone



Just thought I would introduce myself for my 1st post as I've been lurking here for a couple of months. I live in the Rossendale Valley (it's about 15 miles north of Manchester) and recentley I've been bitten by the photography bug.

I've just gone and bought my 1st DSLR camera (canon 450D) and I'm looking forward to getting plenty of tips and info off you all.

There are few Rossendalians on here, including me,I am newish too to TP and we have the same camera model.

It's a good forum and seems to have some great advice.

Hi Mark, Welcome to TP - you'll get hooked very quickly !!
As Digikat says,lots of forum members in East Lancashire.
Living in Rossendale, have you met Button Moon yet ?
She has organised a couple of Lancs/NW TP meets - keep an eye open for the next one - I think the Railway Weekend at ELR has been mentioned

Just to add - the Talk Basics section is a great place to pick up tips/ask the questions you might think are silly...... ask,ask away !!
