Hi all

Just thought I would say hello. I have had a good few pont n shoots over the years, and since my (rather good for a cheapy) Lumix DMC FS15 died, I now intend to buy a much better camera.

In the choice between new superzoom/bridge camera or a second hand DSLR.

I am leaning towards a Sony A200 at present, second hand.

I also have a Tamron AF 80-210 lens that someone left at work many years ago - but not sure of fitting/quality.

I am also blessed by living in one of the most photogenic places going - overlooking the Falls of Dochart.

Some of my shots I like:

:wave::welcome: to TP Matt

very nice set of pics there to start with, look forward to seeing some more :cool:

outandabout ;) are you still ? with the weather up your neck of the woods at the moment, or is it just us southerners cannot cope witht the white stuff they call snow :D

Weather? only took my shorts off yesterday ;)

It is a tad cold, but absolutely stunning for taking pics, unfortunately the camera is dead so none for me at present.

Having spent an afternoon looking, I am erring towards either an A200 second hand or possibly a G9/G10.

How is the Lawers Massif looking at the moment?

Need to get back out there or specifically the Tarmachan. Not been near the hills since I got a DSLR. Stunning area:thumbs:
