Evening all,
Been a lifelong birder and more recently a qualified Marine Mammal Surveyor. Always carried a long zoom Bridge camera to save space and weight. Had varying success with the bridge but found it just not quick enough in the field. I 'bit the bullet' recently and went to a Sony A7III mirrorless with a Sony 200-600mm Lens rig. I'm yet to use it in anger but looking forward to some decent weather to get out in the field and give it a go. I will be needing plenty of advice from the more knowledgeable amongst you.
