Hi all,

Big hello from other side of the world, tiny dot Singapore. Was browsing some information and found this forum. People here seem nice and helpful, and the photos in UK are awesome, hence I joined :)

Here's a shot to share. Singapore is an urban concrete jungle, and this is Marina Bay Sands casino.

Hi LP and welcome to TP. I was in Singapore from 1963 to 1966, probably waaaaaaay before you were born. Fond memories though. Would love to go back and see the immense changes that have taken place

Welcome wlp you have joined a great Forum.
I was in Singapore in 1988 on my way through to Australia and the highlight was staying at Raffles before it closed for the upgrade. Had afternoon tea in the Tiffin Room and a Singapore Sling in the Long Bar

As requested one more shot from Singapore. Just taken today, a wonderful sunrise. Gardens by the bay, a project completed just last year. Some say it looks like avatar :D

 
That's changed immensely since I was last there in around 2008... I must come back again soon :)
