Hello all, My name is Stephen i'm 31 and i'm from Bridgend, South Wales.
I have been into Photography for about 5 or 6 years but i am still very much a novice. I have dabbled with the manual settings on a camera but more often than not my pictures are usually taken using the automatic settings.
I like taking pictures of all sorts of things, the kids, the dog, nature, landscapes, wildlife, sports.
I started out using a Sony A200 but after a couple of years i found myself using it less and less and this was due to the fact i didn't like carrying a big camera around with me. So i switched to Sony's NEX line of cameras before selling all my equipment last year. I've Now decided i want to get back into photography and i am picking up a Sony A6000 this week and now hope to learn how to use the manual settings a bit better.
I know the Sony A6000 is not ideal for some of the subjects i like to photograph, but i'm not looking to excel at anything, its just a hobby that i would now like to get a better understanding of.
Anyway i would just like to say hi, and i hope to get to know some of you guys and learn something new from you.
