Hi all,
This is only the second time I've joined an on-line forum of any kind. I'm a published food writer. My interest today is to increase my skill in food photography. I use Nikon D80, but do not own a macro lens, as yet. Any suggestions for good all-around macro for close food shots in natural light (mostly) at low/medium price point would be appreciated. In some cases, I will be able to get in tight; in others, such as stir-frying; tandori oven baking or the making of crepes on a hot griddle, I would have to keep safely back from the heat and grease. Any suggestions?
