Hi everyone,


Just happened to stumble across this forum whilst searching for some photography related apps. Really glad to have found it as it looks like a great place to chat to like minded people who are into photography!
I received my first dSLR at Christmas and I'm still trying to get to grips with it but I've always been interested in photography and so far I'm loving my dSLR camera.

So, hello to everyone on the forum already and if you're from Scotland too please say hello! :-) 📷

Hi Heather, noticed your post in our failed meet thread. We can maybe organise a Stirling meet sometime soon.
You will find a wealth of knowledge throughout the forum.

I hail from the bonny city of Stirling. It's not too bad although I do have a terrible habit of just taking pictures of the castle over and over again!

Really enjoying the forum so far. So hopefully I'll manage to keep up and put some of the knowledge to good use!

Hi there, thanks for the reply! A meet, well anywhere sounds good! I'll keep my eyes peeled on the Forum for any discussions regarding a visit! :-)

Thank you! I will go and find that now. So far I'm just pressing buttons and hoping for the best....sounds a little similar to me and my camera just now too lol!

Hi Tom, thanks for the welcome. Edinburgh is a beautiful place. Unfortunately I rarely get the time to take my camera on a train and pop through but there's a great little group on Facebook where one person in particular posts some fab pictures of Edinburgh, little pictures of streets I have never seen!

I like it here on TP so far though so fingers crossed I will indeed enjoy my stay! :-)

i frequented stirling quite a lot when i lived in grangemouth...musical interests
yes the castle is a magnet for the dslr
