Hi everyone,
I've finally signed up after being a "lurker" on these forums for quite a while now. Been into photography for 20+ years, went through a fair bit of gear in the 90's (that's another story though...). I wouldn't say that I was particularly good despite studying various books and other photographers work. I would describe the majority of my experiences as being in the wrong place at the wrong time in the wrong light <smirk>. With so many wrongs you'd think that I'd eventually get it "right" once in a while
Other than my phone and an old Samsung NV3 digital compact most of my work is still film based as I can't afford/justify switching to a DSLR for occasional picture taking.
I'm particularly drawn to the Cornish coastline and the fantastic landscapes there.
My day job is spent working as a Desktop Support Engineer in an IT department for an independent Internet Service Provider.
Anyway before I sign off this forum is a great place an full of good advice and interesting discussions.
