Hello - I have joined the forum to learn and seek advice. In 'nineteen hundred and frozen to death' I bought my first SLR; a Canon AE1. I dabbled in developing and printing my own photos - in black and white, and immersed myself into a great new hobby. Now, what seems like 150 years later; I have retired and gone digital! I currently have a Nikon D700 with an 18-270mm zoom and also a Sigma 105mm Macro lens. Sadly with early signs of arthritis and far from perfect eyesight, I'm wondering if I have done the right thing! So - I'm hoping to find others on the forums who may have similar issues; who can help me continue with such a great hobby. From early browsing through the forums and looking at some of the stunning images - this is a truly terrific site.

Perfect description of me there Nicholas, in fact I am registered partially sighted.:eek: You will soon adapt to your limitations, and soon you can forget them most of the time anyway. Any questions just ask.(y)
 
Thanks sbowler579, for the words of encouragement. I was wondering if you just use the standard viewfinder or do you have any other equipment to help you?
