Hi all,

a workmate told me of this forum and it does looks like it ticks all the boxes.

I am starting over as I haven't used a SLR for 20 yrs or more, let alone a digital one. I have been using nikon compacts for years and have decided that it was time to 'step up'. I am using a Cannon EOS 100D along with cannon 70-300 zoom.

I enjoy wildlife photography and particularly like photographing birds. I have taken a few good shots but I would like to take excellent shots, in time and with help from you guys I hope to achieve my goal.

Hi pipc - suggest a trip to Whitestake for shots of birds of prey - owls really, but at close quarters.
