great to see such an active forum!
i will away now and do lots of reading!
excuse any daft questions i am very new to (real) photography, i have been snapping away with little digi's for years always wondering why my pics were utter you know what!...
anyway in the spirit of "all the gear no idea" :bonk: i have a new (3 months now) digi slr with lots of bits of filters and lenses etc and am ready to get stuck in.
actually the mechanics of i have sort of picked up, what i really am trying to learn is how to take a good photo! i.e. the image, what makes a good image etc. just started to read ansel adams basics 1 book.
i am off on my travels so hope to do a bit of landscape and some u/w stuff, i am sure i'll keep you posted
