Hi everyone,

Just been on my first holiday with my new DSLR, a Nikon d5100. Will be putting some shots up today and looking forward to getting involved!

Where did you go on holiday, (lucky too, avoiding the terrible english weather no doubt) and what glass were you carrying around with you? :)
 
Hi Pete and welcome to TP. You'll find lots of London-Based togs here. Have a look at the meeting place forum, there's always a meet every couple of months. In fact 1 today and 1 on Dec 3rd. Maybe see you there.:thumbs:

Hi Farrance, I went to Morocco so yes it was definitely warmer than England! It is a great place and I recommend going.
 
I literally just bought the camera before I went on holiday, so my lenses were pretty limited to a 55mm standard lens and a 200mm Nikon lens.
 
Welcome Pete, I'm a friend of Daryl's and he was just saying you had joined up. Look forward to seeing some pictures :)
